The other day June and I were getting a little stir crazy in our house:
So we decided to go on an autumn adventure to the backyard.
First we stopped to see the spot of the river bank where the wild mink lives:
I'm sure if he knew we were taking the picture he would have posed! Mink are such friendly fellows after all.
Then we looked at some cool leaves:
Then we saw a bunch of logs and stuff. I said "we should probably clean those up somehow." June said "babababa":
Then we looked at our favorite spot of grass to lay on by the Cherry Tree:
Then we went and looked at the spot of the river that separates us from Mrs. Bird.
Here's our mossy old steps:
and some blurry pumpkins on the porch:
I thought the dew on the clovers looked really cool:
and June liked this cool tree (as you can see):
I have looooooong legs:
So does June:
Next we went by the "watering-hole". It's a place in the river where there is a waterfall and a pool at the bottom. All the neighborhood kids play there in the Summer and gave it that nickname.
Here's a knotty old stump:
and a cool flower:
we looked at where the river comes to our house from the Park:
then we went inside. Here's our backdoor doorknob:
and here's another doorknob just for fun:
then June got busy throwing all her toys:
and fell asleep eating dinner:
goodbye!

Karlee, this made me smile! I especially like your dialog during your nature advendture, and June's response. Ha ha. You're a good mommy, and I want to squeeze that baby of yours
