So we just got back from our Spring Break trip to Arches! It was really fun. The weather was way warmer than it is in Logan. There was no snow or anything and when we got back here there was like 14 inches!!! We mostly did hiking, which was fun until after one day when we hiked 8 miles! I thought I was going to die! I need to get in shape! The sights in Arches are amazing. I don't know how things like that can happen in nature, but it's really cool. Too bad it couldn't last longer. I'm not ready to go back to work on Monday. I guess that's life....
So what else is new? The Broadway Showcase is coming right up next weekend! It should be lots of fun! It's in the Morgan Theatre on campus the 19th, 20th and 21st. I'm singing a song from The Light in the Piazza, a new musical that I love!! And a duet from Wicked "For Good". I'm also in a few other scenes. I'm excited! Jake is just keeping busy with work, school and his church calling. He's a busy guy and I'm amazed that he can do everything that he does!
