Seaview

Oh my heck it's been forever! I need to do better at keeping up with this! Well, what's new with us? Jake's still doing full-time school and full-time work and is as busy as ever. I'm still just working and doing another show! Thoroughly Modern Millie, that is. I play "Alice", one of Millie's ditzy friends at the Hotel Priscilla. She used to be amish and moved to New York to become a flapper. She is a real ditz. It's a really fun part to play! The show opens next week at the Eccles Theatre on Main Street. The choreography and costumes are amazing. It's going to be awesome!
We did take a trip since the last time I wrote. We went to Seaview, Washington with Jake's family. (It is part of Longbeach if that helps). It is completely beautiful up there! We stayed in some condos right by the ocean. It really wasn't that expensive and was a pretty nice place. I loved the beach! It's been years since I've been to a beach. Too bad it was too cold to swim, though, at least for me. Seaview is an awesome little town! They have all these cute little nautical-themed shops and restaurants. We even rode the bumper cars. (I got some whiplash...) I talked Jake into going to a huge antique store they had there. After about an hour I finally bought a really cute butterfly pin that was $1. Good ol' Jake. He's so patient.
