Little update

What a wild ride this past month has been!  We are working away on the house.  Pretty soon I'll be able to post a before and after picture of the bathroom.  I'm loving how it's turning out!  I am finally starting to feel better and not throw up so much!  Can you believe I will be 5 months this Saturday!?   It is amazing to be able to eat some food!  I had forgotten how that felt!  I have to say that the past 4 months were pure Hell.  I really feel for any lady who's been that sick.  There are no words to describe it.  Every once in a while, though, I run into someone who says "oh yeah? well I was sick the whole time".  I really feel for those people both because being sick the whole time would be awful and for the fact that they feel they have to 1-up everybody.  Gotta love em.  I am starting to show!  Here is a picture of my prego self:

I'm sort of wearing baggy clothes so it's kind of hard to see, but trust me I'm feeling big!  I don't fit into anything!  I call those my clown pants because they are so baggy on me.  Also do you like the flute player coming out the top of my head in the picture?  ha ha.  I am starting to feel the baby move a whole bunch.  One night I was worried about it because I had been lifting some heavy things that day and hadn't felt it move, so I said a prayer to know that everything was alright and then I got a swift kick to the ribs (literally)!  It was great.  I didn't even know they could kick that high, but it was unmistakeable.  Baby is a little Rockette.

How funny if it turns out to be a boy.  ha ha.  I'll never tell him I said that.  I'm so thankful for all the blessings we have lately.  Things have been stressful for Jake because of the house and work, but I kept praying that the Lord would take care of us.  Well it turns out that this guy who had been causing a lot of problems up and quit (thankfully he had another job).  Jake was stressed out at first because he thought he would have to hire another person and try to cover the guy's work, but it turns out that Jake gets the extra work done in no less than an hour each day so he doesn't even have to hire someone!  Also, they got another business to rent the other side of the building which is a huge help!  What blessings!  We are thankful for the answer to prayers.  We find out what we're having in 2 weeks from today!!!!!!!!!  I am so excited that I made a paper chain and have it hung on the wall by my bed.  It's more exciting than Christmas.  I will keep you posted!

Ah Karlee, I'm so happy! I love that you made a paper chain. I love that you're starting to show, even though it's weak sauce, and I can't wait to find out what you're having. I'm guessing girl. I'm so super sad that you've been so sick. I completely relate!! It's frustrating when pregos can't relate, 'cause you feel like you're making it up, but it's miserable. So yay for food again. Hey do you have skype? If so we really should skype. The earlier in the day for you the better for me. Look me up under bexylou101. XO
