I can't believe how time flies (and drags)! I only have about 1 1/2 months left! What a journey pregnancy is. It has been HARD, but I can't even say how excited we are! We are working frantically to get the house done. The kitchen should be installed this Friday! I keep thinking I should post pictures of things, but I always want to show the before and after pix, and nothing is 100% finished. Maybe I should post before and almost after pictures. They have already hired my replacement at work and she starts next week! It's weird to actually be leaving this place after almost 8 years as a student and employee, but I'm not sad. I've met a lot of great people, but am definitely ready to move on in life! I couldn't think of a happier ending to this chapter of life. I'm trying to get together some things for when the baby comes. You need a lot of stuff for one tiny person! I can't wait to meet her. I already feel like I know her. She is always on the move in there. One night I thought she might actually bust out! My belly was jumping up and down and side to side. She really likes when I play "When the Saints Go Marching In" on my cell phone. It gets her going every time. Some of you have asked if I took any pregnant pictures. I took a few at work every here and there. I have to admit, I'm not looking my best, but that's part of the sacrifice I suppose. Here is a brief chronology of the pregnancy (in pictures):

It's funny how I thought I was so huge at the beginning. I'm just going to bet bigger, too, for the next while! (ha! and do you notice how I wear those same brown maternity pants in most of the pictures? It is seriously hard to dress yourself!) Lately I've had huge swollen ankles. I call them my hippo feet.
Yep that's them.
Hopefully next time I will be able to post about a new baby!!! Or maybe a little post sooner than that about a new kitchen.

I called them elephant legs because they are straight down but hippos works too! I remember feeling like everywhere I went I was l..u..m..b..e..r..i..n..g in the end. The end is crazy hard but you are doing awesome and as soon as she gets here you will feel MUCH better!! (Although the swelling still took several weeks to go away)
Karlee, you crack me up! And I love seeing your cute belly. I don't know how a baby can fit in you tiny self. I'd love to see you while I'm in Utah. Let me know if you head to Utah county in the next few weeks. Good luck on this last little bit, and sleep, sleep, sleep!!! And go on a few dates with the hubs too!
Karlee!!!! I live this post so much. You are so stylish and beautiful as a pregnant woman!!! ( why would you be anything else?) It made me laugh so hard to think of your little girl jumping when she heard " when the saints come marching in" on your fell phone.
I am dying to see your house pictures. You should seriously do a before picture of every single room. ( because I want the whole house tour) don't worry about afters).
Oh Karlee! I love you. This post was both joyful and hilarious - I totally laughed out loud at your hippo feet pic! So happy for you. Good luck with that baby girl and say hello to Jake from Jordan and me!
Karlee, you are seriously one of the most adorable individuals I've ever seen! The end is crazy, isn't it? Just when you think you can't expand any more... you do! I remember wishing I could just remove the big ball in front of me for just 5 short minutes so I could stretch and breath and moooove, just for FIVE minutes!!! Totally amazing though. I always sort of miss feeling that little life inside me. Jenny just had a baby, did you know? You cant access her blog from mine. Anyway, congrats! She's going to be a lucky little girl!
Uh... Just noticed Jenn's post above mine. :) I'm such a nerd!
Hey Karlee,
Don't you think Marie is just such a nerd? Oh wait, I just saw her post above mine! haha!(:
Ha ha I love you guys! Congrats Jenny on the baby! Didn't you name her Lucy? That is a lovely name! Marie how old are your kids now? I've never even seen Jane!Do you guys ever come to Logan?
MJ: when will you be in town next? You should stop on by! I know seeing Becky soon is a long shot.
