this summer

I had a million plans this Summer, but we only did a few.  I can't believe it's already over!  Oh well.  I really like Fall the best anyway.  Here's some pictures of things we did.  

We went to Pine Valley on a family vacation.  It has this really cool old church there.

 I sewed a dress.  I'm going to change the sleeves, though. 

We had our anniversary!  That sign on the wall makes it seem like a wild joint.  It was just a pizza place.

We saw this dam. 

June had a water party with the cousins. 

We went to the rodeo!

June met this cat.

She really really likes cats.

 and her cousin Kate.

We saw fireworks on the 4th.

And went to my personal favorite, Art on the Lawn

I went for the art.  June went for the Ice Cream.  Works every time. 

June helped Dad fix the vaccuum (while putting curlers in his hair)

All three of us went to the zoo.  Jake was grumpy:

We also went to SUMMERFEST! (its even more my favorite)

 

I bought this mushroom cookie jar at DI.  heck. yes.

we toured this old building with like 200 ancient doors!

 I found some old pictures of my grandma on a road trip in the 40s:

Summer's been fun, but all this sunshine is making us a little crazy.  Just like this bear:

I would do the same thing, bear.  

And now we are ready for Fall!
